The Rheumatology Clinic at UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center is committed to providing outstanding care for patients with a full range of rheumatic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal diseases. Our physicians have specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and other diseases of the muscles, joints and bones.
At UNM SRMC, our board-certified rheumatologists serve as consultants for patients with aches and pains and provide care for complex cases of arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions. The services provided in our Rheumatology Clinic include:
- Advanced diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases and disorders that affect the muscles, joints, and bones
- Medication consultation and management
- Joint injections – An alternative to surgery for sore shoulders and knees, trigger finger, and carpal tunnel. This is done on-site and is used for both diagnosis and treatment
- Coming soon: Intravenous infusion – On-site administering of your intravenous medications
UNM SRMC’s Rheumatology Clinic works in conjunction with the Division of Rheumatology at the University of New Mexico’s School of Medicine. All of our providers are professors at the School of Medicine, making them the leading experts of rheumatology in the state of New Mexico.
